Marc Ian Barasch, Executive Director, founded the Green World Campaign in 2005. He is a member of the U.N. Advisory Committee for the Year of Forests 2011. A book author, magazine editor, TV producer, and media activist, he has created global TV programs for Turner Broadcasting (where his Emmy-nominated Earth Summit special aired to a global audience in 160 countries), and for Discovery/Learning Channel.
